Day 1 Morning departure for the journey into Devon and to Bideford for a stay of four nights.
Days 2 to 4 During your stay in Bideford, we have included the following excursions for your enjoyment:- ● Day tour to Barnstaple, thought to be the oldest borough in England. You will have time to visit the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon which is a perfect way to find out more about the area. You will then travel via Coombe Martin to Ilfracombe, famous for its beautiful sandy beaches, unique Tunnel beaches, fascinating museum and Chambercombe Manor, one of Britain’s most haunted houses. ● A scenic circular tour to Bude, a small seaside resort, and then onto Holsworthy, Hatherleigh and Great Torrington, where Henry Williamson wrote his classic novel ‘Tarka the Otter’ in the 1920’s. ● A morning transfer to the centre of Bideford with its narrow streets, quayside and a jumble of antique shops, cafes and cosy pubs. You can stroll around the town on the heritage trail and visit the local arts and crafts shops. The coach will then return you to the hotel for afternoon tea and music.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
