Day 1 Morning departure to Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais, then continuing the journey to Valkenburg for a three night stay.
Day 2 Today travel into Germany and to Dusseldorf with festively decorated huts at numerous unique Christmas markets throughout the city centre. Discover all kinds of Christmas delights in over 200 huts, including glittering Christmas tree decorations, distinguished handcrafts, plenty of tasty seasonal treats as well as an ice rink. In the Marktplatz see the lovingly restored 100 year old merry-go-round and also the hand carved life-sized manger from Bethlehem.
Day 3 Valkenburg at leisure. An amazing setting for the Christmas market as it is held inside several of the town’s caves (entrance payable locally). You can marvel at the largest crib in Europe and enjoy the festive decorations above ground at Santa’s village.
Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
