Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Sidmouth and the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 A coastal drive to the picturesque village of Beer for a visit before continuing onto Seaton for lunch. You will then take a scenic drive in the Axe Valley before returning to Sidmouth.
Day 3 Today’s excursion takes you to Exeter on the River Exe, a vibrant, attractive and historically interesting city. You can visit the magnificent cathedral in its own grounds or the Royal Albert Memorial museum, where you can explore the city’s 2000-year history all under one roof. Also take a stroll to the historic quayside which has been enhanced to provide a fascinating mix of historic and contemporary design. Returning to the hotel midafternoon.
Day 4 A morning visit to the Donkey Sanctuary, the largest in the world, before returning to Sidmouth for free time to look around this seaside town.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and travel to Lyme Regis, famous for its harbour, for some free time before commencing the homeward journey.
Located on Sidmouth’s esplanade, facing the sea, a traditional, family-run, regency hotel. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift, bar, restaurant, several lounges, games room, hot tub, sauna and spa and wellness centre.
Please note that although rooms can be reached by lift, some rooms are approached by several stairs and one room is on a half landing.
