Day 1 Morning departure to Dover or Folkestone for the crossing to Calais and on to Paris. You may choose to eat in the hotel’s restaurant, or a wide range of other restaurants close to the hotel.
Day 2 A full day sightseeing tour of the major sights, with free time to explore on your own. Towards the end of the afternoon you have the chance to join an optional one hour river cruise on the Seine (cost payable to your courier) or you may wander in the grounds by the Eiffel Tower. For the evening the choice is yours. You can travel back to the hotel on the coach, or stay in Paris - perhaps have dinner in the Latin quarter. The hotel is easily reached by metro or taxi.
Day 3 This morning travel to Montmartre with free time to visit the imposing Sacre Coeur and the Artists’ Square. Continue the sightseeing tour by arriving at the Eiffel Tower at midday. You will then have several hours at leisure to visit the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre or one of the many other attractions. At approx 16.00 hours the coach returns to the hotel, to allow you to change for the evening. Tonight your courier will give you the opportunity to take dinner at the Au Bistro De La Montagne, where you can enjoy a four course meal (choice of menu) with unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks, whilst being entertained by wandering musicians. (cost payable to your courier). We will finish your Paris City Break with a “Paris by Night” tour when the city comes alive.
Day 4 Breakfast, then commence the homeward journey.
The Ibis Paris Porte D’Orleans is located just south of the Montparnasse district in Paris and a 10 minute walk from Porte d’Orleans Metro Station. There is a choice of shops and restaurants in the area and Gentilly Station is 657 yards away and the T3 tramway nearby provides access to Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre.
