Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Coventry for some free time before arriving at the hotel for a three night stay.
Day 2 Today we visit the Black Country Living Museum set in a landscape of 26 acres and one of the most extraordinary open-air museums in the UK offering a glimpse into 200 years of history. With over fifty authentic shops, houses and workshops, carefully reconstructed to preserve the character of the region when its manufacturers brought worldwide fame to the Black Country towns.
Day 3 HAPPY EASTER. We travel to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire on the edge of the National Forest. It is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance and the maturing woodland landscape is home to over 330 memorials. We have included a 50 minute train ride with a running commentary as you explore the grounds.
Day 4 After breakfast, we travel to Stratford-Upon-Avon for lunch before commencing the homeward journey.
An ideal base to explore the area with plenty of charm and character. All bedrooms are ensuite with TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, work desk, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift, bar, lounge, restaurant and gardens.
