Day 1 Morning departure travelling through the Wiltshire countryside to Yeovil Fleet Air Arm Museum for a visit before continuing on to Street and the hotel for a three night stay.
Day 2 Travel to Wells, England’s smallest city and one of the most beautiful for some free time before travelling through the rugged gorges that surround Wookey Hole caves and the famous Cheddar Gorge. We have included a visit to the Cheddar Gorge Cheese, the only cheesemakers in Cheddar for a viewing and tasting, before returning to the hotel.
Day 3 Visit the seaside today. Boarding a train journey from Bishops Lydeard through the Quantock Hills to Minehead for some free time before continuing to the thriving sea side town of Burnham-on-Sea. It may have the longest expanse of sand but it also has the shortest pier. Returning to the hotel by way of Bridgwater.
Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel and travel to Kingston Lacy, a beautiful Italian palace in the heart of rural Dorset. Here discover an internationally acclaimed art collection, including paintings by Rubens, Velazquez and Titian. Then continue the homeward journey.
