Day 1 Morning departure to travel to delightful Henleyon- Thames where you have time for lunch and a stroll along the river. Departing at 15.00 continue your journey to the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 Travel to St Albans for a morning in this ancient city. After lunch continue to Ware to join the Lee & Stort Co, boat trip with an included cream tea.
Day 3 A full day excursion including a tour around the university town of Cambridge. Your tour will take in the must-see sights of Cambridge including King's College and Chapel, St John's College neo-gothic Bridge of Sighs and the River Cam. You'll have time to wander round the stalls of Market square before the departure after lunch to IWM Duxford to visit this historic airfield and museum of aviation history and discover the stories of people who lived and worked at RAF Duxford.
Day 4 Today's visit is to nearby Hatfield House, built between 1607-11, this fine Jacobean house joins the site of the Old Palace of Hatfield. Hatfield House is the home of the 7th Marquess and Marchioness of Salisbury and their family. With stunning examples of Jacobean craftsmanship throughout the house and a number of gardens and attractions to explore there is something for everyone.
Day 5 Depart after breakfast and travel home by way of Windsor for free time. Leaving Windsor at 15.00 continuing the homeward journey.
