Holiday Itinerary

Day 1 Early morning departure for Holyhead and the crossing to Dublin. On arrival travel to Bray for a four night stay.

Day 2 A day exploring Co. Wicklow with a visit to Powerscourt House and Gardens, considered one of the world’s greatest gardens. Afterwards travel to the Vale of Avoca for an included visit to the Handweavers to see what it was like to live and work in the Vale of Avoca within this cottage industry.

Day 3 Discover Dublin with a 2½ hour guided city tour on the coach, a perfect introduction to the history and heritage. After the tour enjoy some free time to explore and have some lunch before you will take a 45 minute cruise on the River Liffey sailing through the heart of the city. More free time before returning to the hotel.

Day 4 Today begins with a scenic rail journey on Ireland’s oldest railway from Bray with a guide who will provide a commentary along the route as it passes along the coastline with unspoilt panoramic views of the countryside and sea before arriving at the seaside resort of Malahide. On arrival you will enjoy tea/coffee and scones and some free time. Afterwards you will travel farther up the coast to Skerries Mills, with fine examples of working windmills and a waterwheel in this beautifully preserved heritage site.

Day 5 An early start to Dublin port for the 08.05 hours sailing to Holyhead with breakfast on board the ferry. Arrive Holyhead and commence the homeward journey.
