Day 1 Morning departure and travel to the market town of Stratford- upon-Avon with more than 800 years of history. Free time before continuing the journey to the hotel for a two night stay.
Day 2 This morning you will travel into the Peak District and to Chatsworth House, where you can admire the house decorated for Christmas.
The theme this year had not been announced at time of printing. Enjoy some of the magnificent rooms within the house* as well as Chatsworth’s most significant art collection. Also unlimited access to the 105 acre garden with the waterworks, sculptures, maze and more. There will also be a Christmas market on site and you will have access to this during your visit.
*NB: Please note selected rooms on the upper floor of the house will be closed for annual conservation.
Day 3 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence your journey to the largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria, Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market. It offers a large range of traditional goods and gifts as well as a selection of tempting food and drink. Pretzels, schnitzels, bratwursts, and roasted almonds will tempt your tastebuds, all of which can be washed down with gluhwein, weissbeer (wheat beer), or tasty hot chocolate. The coach will depart from Birmingham to commence the homeward journey at 14.00 hours.
