Itinerary

Day 1 Early morning departure for the journey to Dover for the ferry crossing to Dunkirk and on to Valkenburg for a three night stay. (Dinner included tonight).

Day 2 Today travel into Germany and to Dusseldorf with festively decorated huts at numerous unique Christmas markets throughout the city centre. Discover all kinds of Christmas delights in over 200 huts, including glittering Christmas tree decorations, distinguished handcrafts, plenty of tasty seasonal treats as well as an ice rink. In the Marktplatz see the lovingly restored 100 year old merry go- round and the hand carved life-sized manger from Bethlehem. (bed and breakfast).

Day 3 Valkenburg at leisure. An amazing setting for the Christmas market, as it is held inside several of the town’s caves. You can marvel at the largest crib in Europe and enjoy the festive decorations above ground at Santa’s village. (bed and breakfast).
NB: Entrance is included for the Municipal Caves only.

Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
