Lakes at Easter

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Shap in the Cumbrian Fells and to your hotel for a three night stay.

Day 2 Travel towards Penrith and on to Ullswater, regarded as the most beautiful of all lakes. You have a short break in Glenridding, at the southern tip of the lake, before travelling through Patterdale and over the rugged Kirkstone Pass to Ambleside. Continuing onto Keswick, on the shore of Derwentwater for lunch and time to explore the town before returning to the hotel.

Day 3 HAPPY EASTER Today takes you through Kendal to Windermere and to Bowness. Time to enjoy the surroundings before taking a cruise along the lake to the southern tip at Lakeside. Here you will join the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway for a scenic train ride. Afterwards, rejoin the coach for the journey back to the hotel by way of Grange-over- Sands.

Day 4 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
