Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Dover for the ferry crossing to Dunkirk and on to the north of Antwerp for a three night stay.
Day 2 You will be transferred to the city of Antwerp to explore at your leisure. The heart of Antwerp breathes history with centuries old architecture in every street or on the beautiful Grote Markt and is full of cafeĢs and stylish restaurants. Start at Het Steen, Antwerp’s oldest preserved building and gateway to the city and the Grote Markt, the impressive town hall and the Diva Museum.
Day 3 You will travel to the pretty town of Zundert that comes alive each year for the oldest flower parade in Europe, dating from 1936. The morning is free for you to perhaps visit the Vincent Van Gogh Museum with the permanent exhibition that depicts the youth of Van Gogh and other attractions. In the afternoon you will enjoy the flower parade featuring elaborate sculptures made entirely from dahlias by competing hamlets. Music and street theatre add to the carnival atmosphere.
