Day 2 Free time in Rochester to enjoy a magical start to your Christmas, indulge yourself with hog roast, hot chocolate and roasted chestnuts as you browse the wide range of stalls for those special gifts. Then step back in time to a Victorian Christmas and meet some of Dickens’s heroes and villains under guaranteed snowfall at the Dickensian Christmas Festival. Join in with the festive atmosphere of street entertainment, song, dance and classic readings.

Day 3 After breakfast, depart the hotel for Stonor Park, one of the oldest family homes still lived in, but it’s no museum. A stroll through this house is a vivid walk through history.
