Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Harrogate and the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 A free day at leisure in Harrogate to relax, enjoy the Valley Gardens, the Turkish Baths, the shops and of course make sure you visit Betty’s famous tea rooms.
Day 3 A scenic drive into the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park to enjoy the beautiful landscape. You will visit Skipton known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’, before continuing into the heart of the Dales and the thriving market town of Hawes, which stands at the head of Wensleydale between Buttertubs Pass and Fleet Moss moor. Arriving back at the hotel for a festive themed mini afternoon tea.
Day 4 A visit to Castle Howard, transformed for the festive season. The house is adorned with thousands of baubles, garlands, candles and wreaths. Discover breathtaking interiors, lit by candle and firelight and dressed with stunning traditional Christmas decorations. Live music is performed under the Christmas tree or by roaring log fires adding to the seasonal atmosphere. Explore the gardens which are full of wintry beauty with sparkling lakes and frost covered trees.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
