Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Yorkshire and to the seaside town of Scarborough for a stay of four nights.

Day 3 This morning you will travel to the bracing moorland village of Goathland in the North York Moors National Park. Visitor numbers have soared here following its appearance as ‘Aidensfield’ in the TV series ‘Heartbeat’ and its role in the ‘Harry Potter’ films. Time for a coffee stop and a wander round the village before continuing to the town of Thirsk for lunch and an included visit to the World of James Herriot. Walk through his fully-restored 1940’s home and surgery, and travel back in time to what life was like when James was practicing. See the car he drove, step into the TV set and try your hand at being a vet.
