Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Scarborough and to the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 A free day in Scarborough where it has retained its charm and style established in its Victorian heyday. The elegant architecture, many interesting little shops and attractive gardens make it a resort to relax and potter in.
Day 3 A visit to the historic city of York, rich in ancient history and culture. Renowned for its exquisite architecture, tangle of quaint cobbled streets, iconic York Minster and a wealth of visitor attractions for you to explore all within the compact walled city.
Day 4 Today travel to Eden Camp, where you will experience the sights, sounds and even smells of wartime Britain. This special award-winning museum is housed in the huts of the original prisoner of war camp built in 1942. Make sure you visit the Provisions hut for a cup of tea or a pint of Eden Camp bitter. Please consider this visit as an outdoor activity and wear appropriate footwear. Also the majority of the exhibits are in several huts which are not heated so wrap up warm.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
This hotel overlooks North Bay and a 5 minute walk from Scarborough Castle. All simply decorated bedrooms are en-suite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Seaview bar, lift, dining room and games room.
