Day 1 Morning departure to Harrogate and the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 The morning begins with a short single train journey on the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway through the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. On arrival in Skipton there will be free time for lunch and a stroll round the town before boarding a traditional narrow boat for a guided relaxing one hour journey through the Yorkshire countryside.
Day 3 Morning tour to Ripon, a city rich in history. Experience the serenity and beauty of Ripon Cathedral – its tiny chapel is the oldest surviving Anglo Saxon crypt in England. Returning to Harrogate for free time to explore this famous spa town.
Day 4 A scenic drive into the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, passing through some wonderful scenery. Stopping at England’s highest market town of Hawes which stands between the stunning Buttertubs and Fleet Moss areas of the Dales.
Day 5 Breakfast, then commence the homeward journey.
