Day 1 Morning departure for the journey north to Scarborough and the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 A scenic drive north along the coast passing Robin Hood’s Bay to Whitby, an ancient and beautiful sea port surrounded by magnificent countryside. We have included a visit to the Captain Cook memorial Museum with free time before continuing along the Heritage Coast to discover quaint fishing villages such as Staithes and Runswick Bay to Saltburn-by-the-Sea. You will return to Scarborough by way of Pickering in the North York Moors National Park.
Day 3 A free day to discover Scarborough and visit some of the many attractions on offer.
Day 4 Today drive to Filey and onto Bridlington with two stunning beaches and a picturesque, bustling harbour in the centre. Then travel inland to the stunning Castle Howard, one of Britain’s finest houses full of history and art to explore, and whatever the weather, the Castle Howard landscape brings out the colour and drama of the season.
Day 5 Breakfast, then commence the homeward journey.
This hotel holds a commanding position above the cliffs overlooking Scarborough and South Bay. All simply decorated bedrooms are en-suite with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift, sea-view restaurant, bar and lounge.
