In the afternoon travel to Sewerby Hall and Gardens, uniquely situated in a dramatic clifftop position and set in 50 acres of parkland with spectacular views over Bridlington.
Day 3 Today’s excursion will take you through towns, villages and countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds. Travelling by way of Driffield and Sledmere to Malton for a stop before continuing to the market town of Pocklington for lunch. You will then travel past Garrowby, the highest point on the Wolds, Great Givendale to Howden, where you will enjoy a cream tea at the Watermill Tea Room before returning to the hotel.
Day 4 Travel into the Lincolnshire Wolds to Horncastle and on to the RAF Coningsby, home to two frontline, combat-ready squadrons and the training station for Typhoon pilots. You will be taken to the visitor centre and RAF hangar, located within the boundaries of RAF Coningsby and you will enter a military environment and discover historic aircraft at close quarters. After the visit you will travel by way of Louth and North Thoresby on the edge of the Wolds to the seaside town of Cleethorpes before returning to the hotel.
