Day 1 Early morning departure for Folkestone and the crossing to Calais. Continuing the journey on to Ghent/Antwerp area for an overnight stop.
Day 2 Continue the journey to arrive late morning in Dusseldorf for some free time to explore the city. After the visit continue to Hannover and the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 3 Today you will visit the historic Castle Buckeburg. Travel back in time when guided through the magnificent rooms and experience a grand atmosphere in the fairy tale castle. It is also home to the only private court riding school in Germany. Be astonished when you see the ability of horse and rider who will show the high standards of the Royal and Spanish horsemanship in baroque costumes. Then continue to the restored Park Café for coffee and cake.
Day 4 A free day in Hannover to explore the city. Perhaps take a city tour or visit the Herrenhausen Gardens.
Day 5 Todays visit to the Castle Hamelschenburg – a three winged building with a moat, a drawbridge and two imposing stair towers. We have included a guided tour for you to learn more about this magnificent castle. Then travel to Hamelin for an included lunch before the popular Pied Piper of Hamelin takes you on a tour of his town. He will tell you lots of interesting facts and easy-listening anecdotes about Hamelin when he is not piping on his flute – finish the day with a 1 hour boat trip from this beautiful town. No dinner included tonight.
Day 6 Today depart for Antwerp, with its old city centre steeped in history. You will find ancient building fronts on narrow streets and in the imposing Grand-Place. Some free time before travelling to the overnight hotel.
Day 7 Breakfast, then commence the homeward journey.
