Day 1 Early morning departure to Dover and the crossing to Calais. Travelling through Germany to Kamp-Bornhofen for a 4 night stay.
Day 2 Today you will take the river boat for a one way journey from Kamp-Bornhofen to St Goar, famous for its enchanting houses, giant cuckoo clock and Steiff teddy shops. Here you board the miniature railway in the market place and enjoy a relaxing trip to Fortress Rheinfels and museum, one of the largest fortress ruins in Germany. After visiting the fortress museum, you could perhaps relax on the terrace of the restaurant Rheinfels from where you can take in the wonderful panoramic view of the Rhine, with Maus and Katz castles on the left and right banks.
Day 3 Your excursion today takes you to Rudesheim, a uniquely beautiful town on the banks of the Rhine. The coach will take you to the Niederwald Monument to enjoy awe-inspiring views over the old town and shimmering waters of the Rhine. You will then be taken to the Adolf Storzel winery for a tour and tasting. After free time for lunch you will visit Siegfried's Mechanical Music Museum before returning to the hotel.
Day 4 Today you visit the ancient Roman town of Koblenz, positioned at the junction between the Moselle and Rhine rivers. Castles, palaces, fortresses and towers provide a remarkable vision of a city that has seen more than its fair share of invasions and conquests over the past 2,000 years.
