Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to the historic city of Worcester for a lunch stop. Leaving mid-afternoon to continue the short journey to the hotel for a 4 night stay
Day 2 After breakfast travel to the enchanting Bourton-On- The Water before heading for morning coffee and cake at the interesting Cotswolds Discovery Centre in the ancient market town of Northleach. After the visit continue to the beautiful regency town of Cheltenham for a wander before returning to Stratford via Broadway and Chipping Campden.
Day 3 Free day in Stratford-Upon-Avon. A short drive from the hotel and you’re in the heart of town. Perhaps visit one of the several Shakespeare properties as well as his grave at Holy Trinity Church. There are also delightful riverside walks and river boat trips available.
Day 4 Excursion to Kenilworth for a visit to the magnificent Castle that once withstood a 6 month siege. After some time in the town, which is market day (Thursday), continue to Hatton Garden World where there’s a Garden Centre, Shopping Village and, nearby, an amazing staircase of 21 canal locks.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel for a visit to Waddesdon Manor, The Grade I listed house was built in the Neo-Renaissance style of a French château between 1874 and 1889 for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild as a weekend residence for grand entertaining and as a setting for his collection. After the visit commence the homeward journey.
