Itinerary

Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Plymouth arriving at the hotel late afternoon for a four night stay.

Day 2 This morning you cross the Tamar Bridge, at Saltash into Cornwall and on to the seaside resort of Looe. Time for a stroll along the quayside and the fishing harbour before returning to the hotel for lunch. The afternoon is free for you to explore the famous Barbican, the Hoe or take a look around the city centre for that last minute present. Late afternoon tea & mince pies are available. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass, details of local church services will be available at hotel reception, with mulled wine on your return.

Day 3 CHRISTMAS DAY Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and enter the Christmas cake competition and perhaps take a stroll in the city to work up an appetite for your traditional Christmas lunch. In the afternoon watch the King’s speech and maybe play some board games and enjoy a slice of cake.

Day 4 You will travel along the Tamar Valley to Tavistock, situated on the River Tavy and the edge of the stunning Dartmoor before returning to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon tea and pastries will be served for you to enjoy, and later a farewell dinner with live entertainment.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
