Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Warwick for some free time before continuing to Stoke-on-Trent and the hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 2 Depart the hotel and travel to The National Arboretum for Remembrance Sunday. On arrival you will be served tea/coffee and shown to your seat in the events Aspect building. You will have a welcome talk about the Arboretum followed by a 2 course lunch. The Remembrance Sunday service and parade will also be relayed on screens in the Aspects building. You are then free to roam the Arboretum which is home to over 350 thought-provoking memorials, each with a story to be discovered. The memorials are diverse in nature, rich in symbolism and collectively represent a broad population of society from military associations, charitable organisations, emergency services and individuals. This is a very special place to visit. The coach will depart for the homeward journey at 16.00 hours.
Within a half mile of the Cultural Quarter of Stoke and approx. an hour from the National Memorial Arboretum. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV, telephone, WiFi, hairdryer, iron/ironing board and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift, restaurant, bar and fitness centre.
