Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Broadway in the Cotswolds. Time for you to explore the village and perhaps make a visit to Broadway Museum and Art Gallery and have some lunch before continuing the short journey to the hotel for your pudding experience and overnight stay.
The Pudding Clubs heartfelt mission since it started in 1985 has been to preserve the Great British Pudding and they have succeeded in their mission! Enjoy the evening starting with a glass of Bucks Fizz and a jovial introduction by The Pudding Master followed by a light main course and then the parade of four traditional puddings, with all its noise and ceremony, the aim is to taste them all and then to vote for your favourite pudding of the night over coffee. You will depart with a certificate in hand! The hot puddings include favourites such as syrup sponge and sticky toffee.
Day 2 After a leisurely breakfast, depart the hotel and head to Blenheim Palace, home to the 12th Duke of Marlborough and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Blenheim Palace is a World Heritage site that boasts over 300 years of history to discover and more than 2,000 acres of landscaped parkland and formal gardens to explore. At 14.30 hours the coach will depart and continue the homeward journey.
