Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Wellesbourne and to the hotel for a four night stay.

Day 2 A visit to the National Centre for Guide Dogs, here you will see what goes on behind the scenes and see how every guide dog’s journey starts with life-changing puppies. An amazing visitor experience. The afternoon will be spent exploring Hill Close Gardens. The restored gardens offer an extremely rare opportunity to visit sixteen hedged Victorian pleasure gardens, which capture the planting and personalities of their original owners

Day 3 This morning you will travel to Shottery and visit Anne Hathaway’s Cottage where Anne was born and raised and where the young Shakespeare would have visited her during the early part of their relationship. See original furniture and uncover five centuries of stories of the family who lived there for 13 generations. Wander through acres of beautiful cottage gardens and orchards and explore the sculpture trail inspired by Shakespeare’s plays. You will then travel to Stratford, enjoy a river cruise on the Avon before having the rest of the day to explore ‘All things Shakespeare’.

Day 4 Today you will visit the spectacular ruins of Kenilworth Castle and learn about its fascinating 900 year history, and admire the detail in the re-created Elizabethan garden. In the afternoon you will have free time in Warwick, a pretty intriguing town, steeped in history and heritage and famous for its magnificent castle.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey
