Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Worcestershire and to the hotel in Stourport for a four night stay.
Day 2 This morning you will visit the Coalport China Museum, housing the exquisite collections of Coalport and Caughley China. The museum is located in the magnificent listed buildings that were home to the factory until 1926. From there you will visit the Aerospace Museum at RAF Cosford, with an excellent exhibition of 70 aircraft dating back to World War II.
Day 3 Today you will travel to the West Midlands Safari Park. Your ticket includes, afternoon tea hosted in the Georgian Manor, Spring Grove and a 4 miles safari drive through. So much for you to explore and learn about the fascinating world of reptiles, watch the brilliant sea lions or hear about the smaller, fluffy creatures in one of the daily talks or shows.
Day 4 First visit today is Selly Manor Museum in Bournville. You will have a guided tour to learn the heritage of the manor and a walk around the Bournville Village Green, have also included coffee and cake for you to enjoy before travelling to the Birmingham Back to Backs National Trust property. Step back in time on a guided tour of Birmingham’s last surviving court of back-to-backs houses built literally back-to-back around a communal courtyard. Moving from the 1840s through to the 1970s, discover the lives of some of the former residents who crammed into these small houses to live and work. Come and see Mr Levi’s bedroom-turned-workshop, Mrs Oldfield’s mealtime kitchen and peek inside George Saunders’ tailor’s shop.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
