Day 1 Morning departure to Llandudno and the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 Day tour by way of Blaenau Ffestiniog to the captivating village of Portmeirion, situated on a private peninsula overlooking stunning coastal scenery. The Italian Riviera meets rural Wales with colour and architectural styles of Portmeirion Village. The village is renowned for its fine pottery and the setting for the 1960’s cult TV series ‘The Prisoner’.
Day 3 Today travel to Bodnant Gardens where you can marvel at plants from all over the world grown from seeds and cuttings. With expansive lawns, grand ponds, an impressive terrace, a steep wooded valley with stream, all with glorious displays of colour for you to enjoy. Afternoon free in Llandudno.
Day 4 This morning you will travel to Llangollen, a small town with a wealth of independent shops, bars, restaurants and interesting places to visit. Renowned for the surrounding hills and the River Dee. We have included a visit to Plas Newydd house and gardens - enjoy walks around ten acres of grounds ranging from formal ‘parterre’ and rose gardens to beautiful woodland areas, set against the backdrop of the beautiful Welsh hills. We have also included a cream tea for your enjoyment.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey
