Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Wales and to Llanelli for a four night stay.
Day 2 Today experience the sheer beauty of the Gower, with a visit to the Gower Heritage Centre, which offers crafts, a watermill, and a museum, but most of all enjoy a guided coach tour of the Gower Peninsula, which takes up to two hours. You will then visit the picturesque Victorian seaside village of Mumbles, with its boutiques, galleries, and potteries.
Day 3 First stop is Laugharne, set in a delightful location on the estuary of River Taf, and most famously associated with Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. Time for coffee before continuing to Tenby with its natural charm, narrow streets, harbour, and beautiful beaches.
Day 4 This morning you will travel to Abergwili Junction Railway Station for a return 90-minute journey on the Gwili Railway through pretty countryside and over sparkling rivers. You can also visit the museum and signal box on your return to the station. Afterwards you will visit the National Botanic Garden of Wales, which has been voted ‘No 1 garden to visit in Wales’ by BBC Gardeners’ World, with its stunning range of themed gardens.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward
