Step back in time and visit Athelhampton House, one of England’s finest Tudor Manor Houses. The Great Hall, the heart of the House, with its linenfold panelling, ancient heraldic stained glass & minstrels gallery was built in 1485, when it would have served as the entire accommodation and is fine example of Tudor architecture. The West Wing was added in the 16th century as the house became domesticated, with further additions over the centuries.
Spend the day exploring the Tudor manor then enjoy a Dorset Ploughman’s lunch.

Itinerary

After the below pick ups you will make your way to Athelhampton House with a comfort stop enroute.
Approximate arrival time 10:30, on arrival you will be introduced to the House with a cup of tea or coffee.
Spend your time exploring the estate and then head to the restaurant for your Ploughman’s lunch.
The coach will return at 16:00 for the return journey.
