Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Guildford with time to wander around the town and obtain lunch before travelling to Dorking and the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 This morning travel to Brooklands and discover the original home of British Motorsport and Aviation. Explore collections of classic racing cars, and vintage aircraft, go onboard Concorde and see inside the award-winning Aircraft Factory. Walk in the footsteps of the motorsport and aviation legends that shaped and changed the world forever. In the afternoon you will have free time to explore the charming town of Dorking, surrounded by the beautiful Surrey Hills. Stroll along the historic streets and discover arts and crafts shops, art galleries, jewellers and eclectic vintage shops.
Day 3 A day at RHS Garden Wisley, one of the world’s great gardens, packed with horticultural inspiration. Spanning 240 acres there is just so much to see. Visit the research centre, RHS Hilltop, home of gardening science, the world food garden and sit and reflect in the wellbeing garden, as well as admiring all other aspects of these stunning gardens.
Day 4 A visit to Polesden Lacey, a 1,600-acre estate with elegant gardens and Edwardian country retreat of socialite Margaret Greville. Downstairs the showrooms house her extensive collection of paintings, ceramics and fine French furniture. The gardens highlight exceptional views, a walled rose garden, herbaceous border and lots more. In the afternoon you will travel to Windsor and enjoy a two hour boat trip. You will enjoy excellent views of Windsor Castle and Eton College. After passing Windsor Racecourse, the boat passes through Boveney Lock, Sutherland Grange, the Willows and Bray Film Studios and at Monkey Island the boat turns for the return journey to Windsor.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
