Newquay is the best known resort in Cornwall. The coastline is made up of rocky headlands, high cliffs, smugglers coves and sandy beaches, but also offers plenty for the more mature visitor.
Day 1 Morning departure to Cornwall and on to the hotel arriving late afternoon for a four night stay.Days 2 to 4:
Today you will head to the southern coast to the village of Mevagissey, an ancient fishing port with narrow streets and a picturesque harbour. You will then travel to Padstow, with a pretty quayside, alleyways, shops and cafes. Then travel along the coastal route back to the hotel.
Day tour to St Ives, one of Cornwall’s top destinations and perfectly situated overlooking a crescent of beaches. The town has become a magnet to some of the world’s greatest painters, sculptors and ceramists. There are plenty of pavement cafes, ancient pubs and eateries for you to enjoy.
NB: Shuttle bus to centre available at small extra cost.
A morning visit to Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm for a visit before travelling to Lamorran Gardens, a subtropical, Italianate inspired garden on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. A garden of many levels situated on a south facing slope with a wide range of plants from all over the world.
NB: Gardens unsuitable for wheelchair users, there are some areas where visitors with limited mobility can visit and enjoy the vistas out to sea.
The hotel is ideally located, just 200 yards from Tolcarne beach, considered one of the best in the area and only a short 10 minute stroll from Newquay town centre. All bedrooms are en-suite with TV, complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Lift, WiFi in public areas, restaurant, bar, lounge, games room, ballroom, outside terrace and indoor pool.
