Itinerary

Day 1 Morning departure to Torquay and the hotel for a four night stay.

Days 2 to 4 At leisure in Torquay and one free day with the following excursions included:-

  • Day tour to Dartmoor and visiting the moor’s highest village of Princetown in time for lunch. We have included entrance to the Dartmoor Prison Museum before continuing on to Tavistock, a thriving market town and home of the cream tea. The town is steeped in history so why not visit the museum, look at the independent shops and enjoy a cream tea in one of the cafes, pubs or restaurants.

  • A full day excursion that will take you to Totnes. Here join a river cruiser for a pleasant 75 minute cruise along the River Dart to Dartmouth. After some free time take the passenger ferry from the Town Quay to Kingswear where you join a steam train of the Dartmouth Steam Railway for the coastal journey to Paignton. Your coach will be waiting to take you back to the hotel.

Day 5 After breakfast, depart for the city of Exeter for some free time before commencing the homeward journe
