Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Somerset and to the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 Today you will head to Hestercombe Gardens, famous for their unique collection of gardens which span three centuries of history and design. The Edwardian formal garden is hailed as one of the finest examples of the world-renowned partnership between garden designer Gertrude Jekyll and architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. Afterwards you will visit Sheppy’s, one of the homes of traditional Somerset cider. Enjoy a tour and tipple before returning to the hotel.
Day 3 This morning you will visit Yeo Valley Farm and have a taste of how they produce their products. Visit the organic garden which is six and a half acres of ornamental and edible plants, or visit the farm shop and café to enjoy a coffee and cake. This afternoon you will travel to Cranmore and the East Somerset Railway. Enjoy a 40 minute train ride on their heritage train and visit the engine shed, workshops as well as the small museum, signal box, shop and café.
Day 4 A short day excursion to Weston-Super-Mare steeped with Victorian history and dominated by a fabulous beach, famous pier and three museums. Mid-afternoon return to the hotel to relax and enjoy the facilities the hotel has to offer.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
