Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Wellesbourne and to the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 Start the day with a journey from Broadway to Cheltenham on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway travelling through stunning countryside. On arrival you will have free time to explore Cheltenham. It is a spa town located within The Cotswolds, and dates back to the discovery of mineral springs in 1716. The town is famous for its Regency architecture and is said to be "the most complete Regency town in England”, with many of the buildings being listed.
Day 3 This morning visit the beautiful town of Royal Leamington Spa located in the heart of Warwickshire. With a town centre being a third of a mile square, getting around is easy and a great way to appreciate the stunning Regency architecture and Jephson Gardens, a formal Victorian park in the centre. After lunch you will travel to Henly-in-Arden, one of the prettiest towns in England: a mile-long High Street of medieval, Tudor, Georgian and Victorian architecture including 150 historic buildings, shops, pubs and restaurants, for free time to explore.
Day 4 Today is a visit to the stunning Warwick Castle, over 1000 years in the making and so much for you to see and do. The castle interior shows the castle’s rich history, and each state room has distinctive personalities that are a true testament of the opulence of a bygone era.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
