Day 1 Early morning departure for the journey to Poole and the Condor Ferry Terminal for the crossing to Guernsey. On arrival you will be transferred to the Pandora Hotel for a three night stay. The island is steeped in wartime history with the following attractions connected to the war and worth a visit: - German Occupation Museum, La Valette Underground Military Museum, German Underground Hospital and Castle Cornet with its museums.
Day 2 This morning is at leisure followed by an afternoon excursion to the beautiful Herm Island. There are no cars here, preserving the island’s pristine natural environment and peacefulness. Enjoy beach walks and visit the Mermaid Tavern with nearby gift shops. Afterwards you will return to St Peter Port and to the hotel.
Day 3 Today you will embark on a full day guided tour of Guernsey. Along the way you will see The Little Chapel, possibly the world’s smallest chapel, Pleinmont Point, naval observation tower and much more.
Day 4 Today you will be travelling to Jersey on the Condor ferry and on arrival you will be transferred to St Saviour and the Merton Hotel for a three night stay.
Day 5 Today you will join the coach for a full day ‘Round Island’ excursion which includes the beautiful bays of St. Brelade’s and St. Ouen’s, the Corbiere Lighthouse and the charming harbour village of St. Aubin’s.
Day 6 A day a leisure to relax and explore with the possibility of boarding a ‘Hop on Hop off’ bus for a visit to the Durrell Wildlife Park and the fascinating Jersey War Tunnels, which tells the true story of wartime and is a fascinating visit. You also have other museums to visit along with beautiful beaches and lots of wonderful eateries.
Day 7 Today it’s time to depart and be transferred to the port for the crossing to Poole. On arrival your transport will be waiting to return you to your joining point.
