Day 1 Morning departure for the journey to Eastbourne, making a comfort stop en-route, before arriving at the hotel for a four night stay.
Day 2 A free day to explore the museums, art galleries and shops, or stroll along the promenade and visit the lovely Victorian pier with its new walkway and facilities.
Day 3 Today you will travel to Royal Tunbridge Wells for a short visit before continuing to Hever Castle and Gardens. Experience 700 years of history at the romantic 13th century double-moated castle containing a Tudor Manor House within its walls. Day 4 Today you travel to the medieval town of Rye, home to a myriad of art, curiosities, cosy pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and shops. Afterwards you will visit Hastings, famous for its connections to William the Conqueror, with its long history and home to beautiful historic streets and shops full of character. We have included a visit to the British Tea Museum where you will be invited to celebrate the customs and manners of teatime and laments and acknowledges the brutal acts of The East India Company and our Colonial Tea History, and this will be followed with a cream tea.
Day 5 After breakfast, depart the hotel and commence the homeward journey.
